Youtube Tutorial: Tribal Mani

Nach langer Zeit bin ich endlich dazu gekommen ein Youtube Tutorial zu machen. Vor kurzem hatte ich ja schon auf Instagram gefragt, was ihr gerne sehen würdet und dabei kam heraus - tribals!

Das Filmen hat mir wirklich sehr viel Spaß gemacht und ohne die Hilfe meines Freundes hätte ich das schneiden wirklich nicht hinbekommen! ;)

Ich hoffe es gefällt euch! Natürlich bin ich aber auch sehr offen für Kritik und Vorschläge!


After a long time I finally managed to film a tutorial for you guys. About a week ago I asked on Instagram if you'd like to see any specific designs and the result was - tribals!

I really enjoyed filming and my boyfriend helped me cutting the video (I could have never done that on my own :D ) !

Quick Christmas Mani

Heute mal ein ''last minute'' Nageldesign mit Tutorial. Dies werden auch meine Weihnachtsnägel sein - ich hoffe sie gefallen euch! :)

Today's mani is a ''last minute'' nail art. I also have a tutorial for you. This will be my mani during the holidays - I hope you like it! :)

benutzte Lacke / polishes used

Micro Cell 2000 - Basecoat
Embellish 3D Manicure Nail Polish
Butter London - Frilly Knickers
p2 Sand Style Polish - Illegal
Color Club - Topcoat

1. Bringt eine French Manicure Schablone so an eurem Nagelbett auf, sodass ein Halbmond entsteht und tragt danach 2 Schichten von eurem weißen Nagellack auf.

Stick a french manicure stencil to your nail that it creates a half-moon shape and apply 2 coats of your white polish.

2. Zieht sofort die Schablone ab und wartet ein paar Minuten bevor ihr den Glitzer auftragt.

Immediately remove the stencil and wait a couple of minutes before you apply your glitter polish.

3. Macht mit einem kleinen Dotting-Tool 3 kleine Punkte für die Beeren.

Add 3 small dots with a small dotting tool for the berries.

4. Malt mit einem feinen Pinsel (kann man z.B. für circa 2 € in jedem Bastelladen kaufen; meiner z.B. ist von Idee) und grüner Acrylfarbe die Blätter neben die Beeren.

With a fine brush paint on the leaves with green acrylic paint next to the berries. You can buy brushes like this in every craft store.

5. Überlack drüber und fertig! :)

Naildesign Challenge - Bling Bling (+Tutorial)

Heute war ich nun endlich bei der Naildesign Challenge von Fräulein Ungeschminkt dran und mein Motto war Bling Bling. Dazu fiel mir sofort der Nagellack von Claire's ein, den ich mir vor ein paar Wochen erst gekauft hatte.
Von diesem habe ich mich dann inspirieren lassen und habe auch ein Tutorial für euch vorbereitet. :)

Today's finally my turn to show my ''bling bling'' design for Fräulein Ungeschminkt's nail design challenge. When I saw my theme I immediately thought of my new nail polish from claire's.

Polishes used:

Claire's - baby pink, p2 lost in glitter - get gorgeous!, Essence - gold fever, uma - matt top coat



Tutorial

1. Lackiert 4 Nägel in einem hellen rosa und einen gold. / Paint 4 of your nails a light pink and one golden.
2. Nehmt mit eurem Dotting Tool die einzelnen Strass-Steinchen auf und platziert sie auf dem goldenen Nagel. Tragt vorher einen Topcoat auf, der relativ langsam trocknet. / Place your rhinestones on your golden nail using your dotting tool. Apply a slow drying topcoat before.
3. Fertig! / Done!

1. Mattiert die anderen Nägel. / Mattify your other nails.
2. Erzeugt mit einem nail art Pinsel einen Glitzerverlauf, indem ihr am Nagelbett am meisten Glitzer auftragt und diesen dann zum Ende eures Nagels hin ''verwischt''. (Anstatt des Pinsels kann man auch ein Dotting Tool, Zahnstocher oder einfach den Pinsel des Nagellacks benutzen) / Create a glitter gradient using a nail art brush. Apply the golden glitter near your nail bed and let it fade towards the tip of your nails. (If you don't have a nail art brush you can also use a dotting tool, tooth pick or the brush of your polish)

Christmas Cardinal Nail Art

Mein heutiges Design ist von der talentierten Jessica Vero (NailedDaily) inspiriert. Vor einigen Tagen habe ich es bei Google entdeckt und war wirklich begeistert! :)
Also habe ich mich heute mal rangetraut und muss sagen, dass ich wirklich stolz auf mich bin! ;)

Halloween Mani + Pictorial

Passend zu Halloween wollte ich mal etwas ausprobieren, was dazu passt, aber nicht all zu dunkel ist.

Das ist mein erstes Pictorial und ich hoffe ich habe nichts vergessen! Falls aber doch Fragen aufkommen sollten, stellt gerne Fragen! :)

Halloween is coming and I wanted to try something not to dark. Since this is my very first pictorial I hope I didn't forget anything. If you have some questions feel free to ask!

Base - Nude und Glitter Gradient

1. Trage einen Basecoat auf um deine Nägel zu schützen und lackiere danach deine Nägel in einem Nude-Ton.

Apply a basecoat to protect your nails and paint them in a nude color.

2. Tupfe mit einem Make-Up Schwämmchen den holografischen (oder silbernen) Nagellack auf das erste Drittel eurer Nägel auf.

Apply your holographic (or silver) polish with a Make-Up sponge on the tip of your nails.

3. Trage zuerst einen feinen Glitzer in einer dünnen Schicht über den gesamten Nagel auf und bedecke dann mit einem etwas gröberen Glitzer nur das erste Drittel. Als letztes den gröbsten Glitzer auf die Spitzen auftragen und einige Glitzerpartikel mit einem Dottingtool oder ähnlichem auf dem Nagel verteilen.

Apply a very fine glitter to all of your nails and apply a bigger glitter to the tip of your nail. Then apply the biggest glitter to your tips as well and randomly place some of the glitters on your nail with a dotting tool.

 Flügel - Wings

1. Zeichne eine nach oben gebogene Linie mit schwarzer Acrylfarbe.

Draw a curved line with black acrylic paint.

2. Ziehe 3 verschieden lange Linien und verbinde sie miteinander.

Draw 3 different lines and connect them with each other.

3. Fülle die Zwischenräume mit schwarzer Farbe und versiegele dann das ganze mit einem Topcoat.

Fill in the spaces with black paint and finish it off with a topcoat.

Fledermaus - Bat

1. Zeichne mit Acrylfarbe eine Kreis in die Mitte deines Nagels.

Using black acrylic paint draw a circle on the center of your nails.

2. Füge zwei kleine Dreiecke für die Ohren und 2 Striche für die Beine hinzu.

Add two small triangles for the ears and two small lines for the legs.

3. Zeichne die Flügel (siehe oben).

Draw the wings (see above).

4. Füge mit einem großen Dottingtool und weißer Acrylfarbe zwei Punkte für die Augen hinzu. Ich habe auch noch einen Glow In The Dark Nagellack über das weiß aufgetragen und zwei große Glitzerpartikel für die Pupillen verwendet. Versiegele das ganze noch mit einem Topcoat und du bist fertig! :)

Add two white dots with a big dotting tool for the eyes. I added a glow in the dark polish over them and used two glitters for the eyes as well. Finish off everything with a topcoat and you're done! :)

Essence - Superheroes TE Review

Schon als ich die Pressemitteilung von Essence zu der neuen ''Superheroes'' Trend Edition

gesehen habe wusste ich - die brauche ich auf jeden Fall!

Also habe ich mich vor ein paar Tagen auf die Suche begeben und sie gestern Abend oder eher Nacht (es war schon fast 12) endlich gefunden.

Mitgenommen habe ich die Lacke 01 Fantastic Girl, 04 Super, Man! und 06 The Awesome, sowie den Nagellackentferner 01 Fantastic Girl. 

When I first saw the Preview for Essence's new ''Superheroes'' Trend Edition I knew that this was a must-have! 

So a few days ago I began looking for this TE and finally found it yesterday evening or night (it was nearly midnight). 

I bought the polishes 01 Fantastic Girl, 04 Super, Man! and 06 The Awesome and the nailpolish remover 01 Fantastic Girl.

Thermo Effect - 01 Fantastic Girl

Laut Essence ist Fantastic Girl ein ''thermo changierender Nagellack, der je nach Temperatur die Farbe von fuchsia zu leuchtendem pink ändert'' - und da haben sie recht.
Wenn man den Lack aufträgt ist er zunächst lila, aber sobald er sich an die Temperatur meiner Nägel angepasst hat ist das Nagelbett pink und meine Spitzen weiterhin lila. Quasi ein Ombre-Effekt für Faule. 
Wenn ich jetzt aber meine Finger kurz in warmes Wasser halte verfärbt sich der Lack komplett pink und bei kaltem Wasser wechselt die Farbe zu lila. 

Für mich ist Fantastic Girl wirklich der beste Lack dieser Trend Edition. Ich hätte persönlich nicht gedacht, dass der Farbwechsel wirklich funktioniert und, dass sie Farben so schön aussehen. Vor allem der ''Ombre-Effekt'' gefällt mir besonders gut. Aber auch der Auftrag ist ein Traum - nach schon 2 dünnen Schichten, die sich wunderbar auftrage lassen, ist der Lack deckend. 


Essence says that Fantastic Girl is a ''thermo changing polish that twists the color from fuchsia to bright pink when the color is changing'' - and they're right!
When applying this polish it is purple, but when it adapts itself to the temperature of my nails my nail bed becomes pink and my tips stay purple.
When putting your fingers under warm or cold water the polish becomes completely pink (hot water) or purple (cold water). 

I personally think that Fantastic Girl is the best polish of this trend edition. I really didn't think that the color-change would really work and that the colors look that pretty. I especially love the ''Ombre-Effect'' you have. Besides that I really loved the formula when I was applying it - after 2 thin coats that were really easy to apply it became really opaque. I would definitely recommend buying this polish to everyone! 


Galaxy Flakes - 06 The Awesome

Dieser Lack ist in dem selben lila wie Fantastic Girl gehalten, weswegen ich von Anfang an wusste: der muss über den Thermo-Lack! Da ich die base eher als jelly bezeichnen würde (also nicht deckend) ist das auch gar kein Problem und ich kann immer noch den schönen Farbverlauf von pink zu lila erkennen. 
In der base befinden sich viele verschieden große flakes und Glitzerpartikel die schwer zu beschreiben , aber hoffentlich auf den Fotos zu erkennen sind. 

Nach Fantastic Girl ist The Awesome wirklich einer der besten Lacke dieser TE. Die verschiedenen Glitzerpartikel und flakes sind sehr sehr schön und sehen vor allem (wie bereits schon gesagt) über dem Thermo-Lack super aus! Aber auch über anderen Farben wie z.B. rosa, lila oder pink wird dieser Lack sich bestimmt super machen. 


This polish has the same purple color as Fantastic girl, so i decided to layer it over this one. The Awesome has a really jelly base so layering it over the thermal polish wasn't any problem at all and I could still see the ombre effect.
There are many different-sized flakes and glitters in this polish that are hard to describe so I hope you can see them in my photos.

The Awesome is after Fantastic Girl one of the best polihes of this TE. The different flakes and glitters are just too pretty and look amazing over Fantastic Girl.


Holo Effect - 04 Super, Man!

Als ich Super, Man! in der Pressemitteilung sah hoffte ich wirklich, dass dieser Lack nun endlich mal wirklich holografisch sei. Kurz darauf wurde ich aber leider schon enttäuscht als ich las, dass dieser Lack nicht wirklich überzeugend sei.
Super, Man! ist im Prinzip ein silberner Lack mit kleinen, holografischen Glitzerpartikeln, was ja an sich nicht schlecht ist, aber als holografisch würde ich ihn nicht wirklich bezeichnen. 

Super, Man! ist leider nicht so super wie sein Name. Zwar gefallen mir die kleinen Holo-Partikel im dem Lack sehr gut, jedoch bin ich trotzdem etwas enttäuscht da ich persönlich mehr von diesem Lack erwartet hatte. Dennoch bereue ich diesen Kauf kein bisschen und würde den Lack jedem Empfehlen der einen silbernen Lack mit relativ vielen Glitzerpartikeln sucht. 


When I saw Super, Man! in the preview I hoped that this polish was really holographic, but a few days later I was already disappointed when I read that this wasn't holographic at all.
Basically Super, Man! is a silver polish with small holographic glitters, which I would never describe as holographic.

In the end Super, Man is a pretty polish, but I'm still a bit disappointed because I expected more from this. However I don't regret buying this and would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a silver polish with relatively many glitters.


Nagellackentferner - 01 Fantastic Girl

Laut Essence ist dieser Nagellackentferner besonders gründlich und hat eine farbenfrohe und praktische Gel-Textur. 
Als ich zuerst normalen Nagellack damit entfernte merkte ich ehrlich gesagt keinen Unterschied zu einem herkömmlichen Entferner. Ich fand es zu Beginn eher kompliziert einzuschätzen wie viel ich wirklich davon gebrauche. 
Aber auch bei dem Entfernen von Glitzerlack habe ich wirklich gar keinen Unterschied bemerkt und auch nachdem ich das Gel mehrere Minuten auf den Nägeln einwirken ließ konnte der Lack nicht ohne Probleme entfernt werden.

Insgesamt finde ich den Entferner von seiner Verpackung und von der Gel-Textur mit den kleinen Glitzerpartikeln sehr ansprechend, jedoch merkt man keinen Unterschied zu jedem anderen Nagellackentferner.


Essence says that this polish remover is highly effective and has a practical jelly-texture. 
When I first removed normal nailpolish with this I honestly didn't notice any difference to any other polish remover. At the start I even didn't really know how much I would need for removing the polish on one nail.
When I tried to remove some glitter polish I decided to let the Gel on my nails for a couple of minutes because i thought it would make removing the glitters a lot easier, but that didn't work at all. 

I think this nailpolish remover has a very pretty packaging and I really like the jelly-texture, but there isn't any difference to ''normal'' remover so I wouldn't recommend buying this.
